Here is the rudder post - a brass tube with a washer attached to give it some strength...
Underneath a couple of slots are cut in the bottom skin, in line with the notches in the formers.

Then the two keels which protect the propeller are glued in...
A grey primer will do for the deck...
And here are a few more fittings being prepared. I'm going to have to wait for better weather before I can get much more painting done, but you can see how it's progressing....
But if we want a bright orange superstructure, it had better have a while undercoat.

Here I am experimenting with wire railings as well - see the fittings setcion for more of this...
And here you can see a couple of blocks glued in to support the servo. We are starting to seal and sand the hull as well....
Well, they're not great, but they're cheap...
